Slick Shoota Biography

Slick Shoota hails from Norway and has been gaining momentum over the last year with a flood of free tracks and a string of releases on some of the most respected labels in the bass music scene. By the time you hear the now infamous name drop in his tracks, heads soon realize that it's game over. With tracks that mash up many different genres from Chicago's juke and footwork, to 90s UK funky. Slick also likes to bounce from Garage to Jungle; and whatever else might be under the kitchen sink. Slick Shoota has been at work producing stellar remixes for Zebra Katz, Pixelord, Murder Mark, and Faux No. This year he released his first EP on Chrissy Murderbots Loose Squares label, with support from Munchi, Mosca, The Crookers, and Mumdance no less. Quickly the Percussion Skank EP followed on Mad Decent Jeffree's, which saw the lead track "Rasta" gain radio play  on BBC Radio 1. With a third EP coming out this summer on Pixelords Hyperboloid label, there's seem like there's no stopping Slick Shootas prolific output, and that can only be a good thing! Let's move!
